My Life Today

I have a large board that I created to hold my jigsaw puzzles when completing them. The only problem is that it is large and obviously does not fold up! Therefore, it sits in the middle of the room until the jigsaw is complete. Seeing as I live in a small unit at present then it takes up a lot of the living space. Convenient when watching tv but not left for days. I end up having to climb all over it to do anything. A friend has a old card table that just fits a 1000 piece jigsaw, and I mean it just fits, has an allowance of about 1 cm on 2 edges when completed but it doesn't take up too much room, and it folds down when not in use. Now my board does fit under the bed but at least you can move around whilst the card table is still up and the jigsaw is in progress. She mentioned the other day that she had seen 2 in a local charity shop, well a shop in the next town, so today I did a quick trip and less than $10 later I had me an old but new wee card table that is perfect for my jigs

I have a secret addiction to jigsaws. I have my preference on the type I like to do. 1000 piece is just the right size but I will happily do a 1500 piece too. I don't like anything smaller as it is just too easy. But I am happy to go bigger. I also am not a fan of live scenes and prefer cartoon or art ones. My ultimate dream is to complete the Disney one that is only a mere 42,000 pieces! (I will try to find a picture one time soon and post it.) My first one for this year just got finished today. I got it for Christmas, my family know me so well The colours were similar in places so not as easy as it looked, but very enjoyable to complete.
